Digital Ink and tablets

Hello,

I know there are third-party applications that let you 'ink' in OOo3, but they cost money. One of the big reasons we made the switch to OOo is the cost compared to other office suites. Being a school district we have limited resources, but would also like to use tablets to ink on documents. Is there any idea out there if this ability might be added to future versions of OOo?
